The National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) has approved the conference for 17 hours of continuing education credit with NEHA

Throughout the United States, dozens of cities lead the way in implementing child lead poisoning prevention, lead hazard control and healthy homes programs. The 2012 National Conference will feature a number of these cities during the City Showcase Presentations. Teams from these cities will be available to present information on what they have been doing in their communities through grant programs, public awareness initiatives, public/private collaborations, and other strategies.

The City Showcases are designed to provide attendees with the opportunity to engage in interactive discussions with city teams. Each City Showcase discussion will last for 40 minutes so that attendees can participate in several City Showcase discussions throughout the conference.
