Reservations

The Astor Crowne Plaza Hotel is located at the gateway to the French Quarter on Canal Street and Bourbon Street.  A block of rooms has been reserved at a special conference rate of $135 single or double.  These rates are available from check-in on Sunday, April 29, 2012 through checkout on Friday, May 4, 2012.

Special Rates for the Jazz Fest Weekends: For the Friday  and Saturday before the conference, the hotel is offering a special rate of  $209  per  night  for  a  single  or  double.  For  the  Friday  and Saturday after the conference, the hotel requires a two-night reservation at the $209 rate. If you want to reserve rooms for any of these nights, you must call the hotel reservations office directly at 504.962.0500between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. CST. Tell them you are attending the Lead and Healthy Homes Conference. You can make your reservations for the $135 rate (4/29 check thru 5/4 check out) at the same time.

We recommend booking early as reservations are in high demand during the week of the conference due to the New Orleans Jazz Festival which is taking place on the weekends before and after the conference.

Airport Transportation
A fee-based city service is available at the airport baggage claim terminal to the hotel. The hotel’s concierge service can arrange advance reservations for your return trip to the airport.

High speed internet access is available for a fee in all sleeping rooms. Complimentary wireless internet is avail- able in the hotel’s lobby, and an internet café with four connections will be available in the conference area.
