Special Session on the EPA Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule
On Thursday afternoon, the conference will include a session on the RRP Rule that will feature presentations on the status of the rule and it’s various requirements and deadlines; changes to the rule in light of the settlement between EPA and public policy and advocacy organizations; ways in which various states are strengthening the Rule; how local government agencies are planning on enforcing the Rule; issues pertaining to the structure of training programs for certifying contractors; and, the impact of the Rule on the remodeling and painting companies.

This session will provide attendees with updated information and the opportunity to interact with representatives from EPA, public advocacy organizations, enforcing agencies and private industry.
